Put a stool upside down. Players must stand at each leg of the stool giving their backs to the stool. The players are blindfolded. Each of them holds a spoon in his/her hand. At the leader's command the players turn around and try to place the spoon on the leg of the stool as soon as possible. The player to place the spoon first on one of the stool's leg wins the game.Sea Limbo
This is an exciting Luau party idea especially good for children. Have kids play limbo by acting like different sea animals, for example, wiggle like a fish, walk like a crab, slide like an eel, etc.Lost Dog Game
Players stand in a ring facing inwards. The leader stands in the center. She addresses one of the players, saying, "I've lost my dog." The player asks, "What is it like?" The leader describes any other person in the ring. When the questioner guesses the identity of the person described, the one described leaves her place and is followed round the circle by the questioner, (meanwhile, the leader takes the place of either one.) Both run in the same direction, each trying to get to the only free space left. The one left without a space becomes the leader.
Cowboys and Indians
This is a great activity for a western theme party . Choose 2 players to be an Indian and a cowboy. The rest of the players form a circle holding hands up. The Indian moves in and out of the circle trying not to get caught by the cowboy. When the Indian is inside, he can say "close!" and everyone puts their arms down. The Indian is safe then, but when the children forming the circle have counted up to five, they raise their arms again. The cowboy can also say "close!" if it happens that he and the Indian are both inside the circle. He then can catch the Indian more easily, but when kids have counted up to five they can raise their arms again and leave the Indian out!
